We have a list of options to buy primarily in the northeast of the island. We also sell apartment projects. These are more readily available.
Although there are some new offers. Most items for sale on Koh Samui are resale units. New apartments projects advertise for sale far more frequently.

Generally condominiums are small in size, ranging from 26 sq.m to 90 sq.m. Indeed, Studios, 1 Bed units and occasionally 2 Bed units dominate the market. Apartments units also are generally in this size range.
Legal benefits of buying a condominium
Buying a condominium has some benefits. These are due to the ownership. the legal structure. Where a foreigner can receive full freehold title. There is no company to set up. Otherwise ownership is leasehold which is restricted to 30 years in the first instance.
Most popular areas for buying a condominium
The areas of Chaweng beach, Plai Laem, Bang Rak and Choeng Mon are the most likely areas to find condominium for sale. All these areas are on the Northeast coast.
In general terms, budget to mid-range units dominate the market. There are little in the way of top range luxury units available on Koh Samui.
With the lack of approvals coming out of the local government there are fewer new build options available. The condominium license is hard to obtain. Many developer build apartments instead.
Koh Samui condo for sale
Replay condominium, Bophut has resale units for sale.
Horizon Residence Choeng Mon is the nearest to a luxury offering. Some new and resale units available. A nice project near to the beach with 2 large swimming pools.
The Bleu Chaweng currently offers buyers a mixture of developer owned units and resales.
The Bay condominium and Samui Emerald at Plai Laem also have units for sale.
There are some other Koh Samui condo for sale, which are less popular due to the age of building and location.
