The most sought-after areas for condominiums include Chaweng Beach, Plai Laem, Bang Rak, and Choeng Mon, all located on the northeast coast.
Budget and mid-range units dominate the market, with few high-end luxury options available on Koh Samui. Due to limited approvals from local authorities, fewer new developments are being constructed. Obtaining a condominium license is challenging, so many developers focus on building apartments instead.

- Horizon Residence, Choeng Mon: Provides a near-luxury experience with both new and resale units available. The project is close to the beach and features two large swimming pools.
